    Hello,

We have to create user data store with multiple OpenDJ servers in OpenAM 5.5 with the below format.

    Format: LDAP server host name:port | server_ID

Can you please explain what is ‘Server_ID’ and from where we can get it.

Server ID is a unique id set for each server. Always first instance in a site will be created with 01 and subsequent servers will get 02,03 etc.
If you go to Deployment->Servers->Server Name->Advanced, you will see a value set for com.iplanet.am.lbcookie.value property. Usally this is same as Server ID. Also, You can run list-server-cfg ssoadm command to get Server ID

    Thanks,

We want to configure OpenAM with two LDAP servers in the user Data Store. So that if one LDAP server goes down, AM should work with 2nd server.

We are giving the LDAP servers in the following format.

    ldapserver1:port|01
    ldapserver2:port|01

But when we shutdown ldapserver1, authentication is not working with AM. Please advise how to resolve this issue.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

What is this site_ID in the below format. Please let us know from where we can get it.

    Format: LDAP server host name:port | server_ID | site_ID

We have to provide this site_ID while creating user data store in OpenAM 5.5.
