I am looking for the detailed configuration steps for social JIT provisioning in IDM that is demonstrated in the below webinar ‘OpenIDM 3.1 new features overview: “Extending the Enterprise with SaaS and Social JIT Provisioning”‘ some time around dec 2014.

Can some one let me know how to configure this? Thanks in advance.

I am guessing you want to try this out for Google+ as in the webinar demos. Are you already familiar with setup of Google connector (or other off-prem/cloud connectors), oAuth concepts?
Google connector steps are outlined in the openidm integrators guide, once you have that setup you can provision accounts to and from Google after you setup appropriate mappings. To do JIT, you would need to give consent and scope to the connector to recon your account info into openidm. But there may be other methods to do it. Just play around and see what what works best.
