I have installed one application which runs with jetty9 server and jetty server is embedded with the application so there is no way I found to install J2EE agent to protect that application that run on embedded jetty9.

During installation of the j2ee agent on machine where jetty is running it throws error like below:

    Jetty configuration path: /opt/xyz/jetty9/etc
    Jetty home path: /opt/xyz/jetty9
    Invalid jetty installation directory./opt/xyz/jetty9

So now I want to install apache server and will install web agent for that but when I define policy I will provide resource patterns which match with the resource runs on the jetty server so ultimately it gets protected.

    Is it possible?

Yes. As long as you use the Apache server as a reverse proxy in front of the embedded Jetty installation, you should be able to protect all the resources (as long as they are accessed via the reverse proxy).
