    Hi there,

    Can someone please tell me how to insert user fields in selfservice-reset.config emails?

    In particular, I would like to append the users ID to %link% and insert the users firstName in the actual email body. I have tried the following with no success.

    Regards, Mark.

    {
    “stageConfigs” : [
    {
    “name” : “userQuery”,
    “validQueryFields” : [
    “userName”,
    “altEmail”,
    “givenName”,
    “sn”
    ],
    “identityIdField” : “_id”,
    “identityEmailField” : “altEmail”,
    “identityUsernameField” : “userName”,
    “identityServiceUrl” : “managed/staff”
    },
    {
    “name” : “emailValidation”,
    “identityEmailField” : “altEmail”,
    “emailServiceUrl” : “external/email”,
    “from” : “noreply@our.server”,
    “subject” : “Reset password email”,
    “mimeType” : “text/html”,
    “subjectTranslations” : { “en” : “Reset Your Password” },
    “messageTranslations” : { “en” : “<p>Dear {{object.givenName}},</p><p>We just received a request to reset your password.</p><p>Please visit the following link to complete this process:</p><p>this link</p>” },
    “verificationLinkToken” : “%link%”,
    “verificationLink” : “https://our.server/reset/staff/verify?staffId={{object.userName}}”
    },
    {
    “name” : “resetStage”,
    “identityServiceUrl” : “managed/staff”,
    “identityPasswordField” : “password”
    }
    ],
    “snapshotToken” : {
    “type” : “jwt”,
    “jweAlgorithm” : “RSAES_PKCS1_V1_5”,
    “encryptionMethod” : “A128CBC_HS256”,

    },
    “storage” : “stateless”
    }

    Hi again,

    Apparently it’s not possible without a custom stage … OPENIDM-9965.

    Re. Custom stage – now i get all the user fields injected – but i don’t know how to get a handle on the JWT Token generated?

    DOH!
