    Hi,
I can see the below warning in OpenDJ Replication logs(/path-to-opendj/logs/replication)

    [02/Jun/2018:01:28:14 +0800] category=SYNC severity=WARNING msgID=org.opends.messages.replication.146 msg=Directory server DS(7872) at opendj.example.com presented generation ID 8408 for domain “cn=schema”, but the generation ID of this
replication server RS(7873) is -1. This usually indicates that one or more directory servers in the replication topology have not been initialized with the same data,
    and re-initialization is required.

    OpenDJ version – 3.0.0

Any help on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Srinath

This error means that replication wasn’t configured/initialized properly and schema is inconsistent between the 2 servers.
You can force a re-initialisation of the second server’s schema with dsreplication initialize, or you can try to run dsreplication configure again.

Thanks for the response, Ludo. It works fine after re-initialisation of the second server’s schema with dsreplication initialization.

    Thanks,
    Srinath
