    Thanks!

OpenDJ stores its data in a Berkley DB Java Edition database, by default. There is no way to change this default behavior without creating your own custom backend interfaces (i.e. it will require Java programming). This, however, is not advisable given that the product was built to run against the JDB (Java Database).

See https://www.identityfusion.com/unlocking-the-mystery-behind-the-opendj-user-database/ for more information on the Berkley DB JE, if you are interested.

Is there a compelling reason why you want to swap out the backend? There are far easier ways to get your data from DJ into a MySQL DB if that is what you are looking for.
