The releases repo is currently only accessible with backstage credentials associated with a ForgeRock subscription. Customers should submit a support ticket. If you don’t have a subscription please bear with us while we do some re-engineering.

Thanks for the update. Do you have an ETA for when the repo will be publicly accessible again?

Hummm, this is sad, we where tring to analyze some solutions for our company to buy and being an open source is a must in the process.

The problem is that without a ETA on this issue we cannot proceed with our tests and this will in the end make the hole solution as a no go…

So we really need an idea of how long this re-engeneering will take.

Hopefully the artifacts can be uploaded to Maven Central instead, however the POMs would need to be updated, so that all references to the now protected repositories are gone. I’m not sure if it would be a good idea to do that using the original groupId-artifactId though.

There is any way we can get those pom files ? This could help us tring to compile even if we have to redirect the files by hand.

it would be really nice to have an ETA on the auth removal of the public repos. its breaking a lot of builds.

My personal guesstimate would be weeks, but likely to be months. Lots of work involved, and there are problems like the following section:
“In addition we discourage the usage of and and instead publish any required components to the Central Repository. This applies for your own components as well as for 3rd party artifacts.”

Given that OpenAM utilizes libraries for which the source code is not available (or ForgeRock is not allowed to redistribute the binary), deploying to Maven Central may prove tricky; and/or there will be still a need to have references to (a probably new) Maven repository under maven.forgerock.org.

Will this be an issue for the OpenAM 14 POMs when it’s released?

Did anyone get break to this issue? Did forgerock pushed their repo to maven central, if so can we get pom please?
We do rebranding, redistribution of OnenDJ and that all is blocked.

In my company we are in the process of acquiring openam, for this we require to test but this problem obstructs the same, we would like to know if it will be available again.

OK I’ve uploaded my local maven repository to dropbox. If you extract the file to .m2/repository/org/forgerock/ you should be able to build OpenAM again – just don’t use clean
