A couple of months ago I tried to implement a custom login page + login via OpenAM rest API but that was not worked. The original topic is here: Social Login through OpenAM API
Thanks for the community the question is answered and the knowledge is shared. So I am going back to this topic again and I am trying to get my customized login form work.
I would like to have own login/logout pages for each application (*.war), for example:
I use declarative security as it is described here: Declarative Security does not work.
Could you please help me to set up properly OpenAM?August 9, 2016 at 1:31 pm #12519Scott HegerParticipant
It is up to something on the client side to determine that authentication is required and subsequently redirect the user to a login page if necessary. You can manually do this via REST or you can implement a policy agent. By default a policy agent will be configured to redirect to the OpenAM login page but you can configure it to redirect to your own login page if you like. If you do, then you will need to add the login page to the not enforced list in your agent configuration. If both apps are deployed to the same container and thus protected by the same agent they you can set up what is referred to as conditional login pages. It is an advanced property that you configure but in a nutshell it allows you to define specific login pages based on the FQDN used to access the application. The property is: com.forgerock.agents.conditional.login.url. Do a search on that within the agent install guide for the version of the agent you will be using for more information on how to use it.
