I’m confused at verbiage in QuickStart guide. Before installing agent it says to shut down Apache but make sure AM is running. How is AM accessible if my web server is down? Thanks

Agents (Web or Java) are essentially used to enforce authentication and authorization for the application one wants to protect, and as such, the application in question will not be in the same container as AM. It is usually on a different server. So the guide is telling us to turn off the container in which your application (one you want to protect) resides and it’s not referencing AM.

    Hope this clarifies any confusion!
