What’s going on with Forgerock maven repository,
Right now URL http://maven.forgerock.org/repo/repo/org/forgerock/opendj/opendj-server/2.6.0/ arrive in an empty page with no artefact.
While it usually contains 2.6.0 artifacts (free of use according to your product guidelines) :
It is some kind of incident ? Did I miss anything ?
Thank you.March 17, 2017 at 5:40 pm #16333Jamie BowenModerator
Those with ForgeRock subscriptions should submit a support ticket, those without will need to wait a short while while we do some repository maintenance.March 17, 2017 at 5:42 pm #16335
Thank you for you reply. Have a good day.March 20, 2017 at 9:05 am #16349
It’s been 3 days now http://maven.forgerock.org/repo/repo/org/forgerock/opendj/opendj-server/2.6.0/ has no artifacts.
Could you let us know what is going on and when the service will be up again ?March 23, 2017 at 9:26 am #16457LudoModerator
There is some deep reorganisation of our repository and infrastructure.
At this time, I don’t have an ETA for restoring the service. Hopefully within a week or so.March 27, 2017 at 11:16 am #16517
Thank you for your response.
Is it some kind of technical issue that wasn’t address or identified prior migrating your systems ?
Or should we ready ourself for a closure of your public maven repository service and back away from Forgerock products when developing/maintaining open-source softwares?
To be honest, we are sadly considering using other solution because this is unacceptable from a technical view.March 30, 2017 at 5:31 pm #firstname.lastname@example.orgParticipant
Kindly let me know if there is a resolution planned for this. Currently we are stuck. Is this going to be a subscription only offering?

According to https: //lists.forgerock.org/pipermail/openidm/2017-April/005067.html, there is no more public access to Forgerock Maven repository following an internal decision.
Could you please officially provide information on this closure so we can move forward ?
Ironically, the provided link cannot be accessed without subscription.
Thank you.May 3, 2017 at 9:17 am #17204
Just in case someone is looking for a fix : some forgerock dependencies can still be downloaded by maven from public repository maven . forgerock . org / repo / community (sorry, this form won’t let me put any URL)
Please note that you may also have to change the groupId.May 4, 2017 at 3:49 pm #17247Jamie BowenModerator
Please note that these binaries are binaries for the Community Editions. You can read more about those here;
They are NOT forgerock supported binaries, and are not from enterprise releases. The GroupID has been changed so that they are not used by accident and can co-exist in maven repositories along side older ForgeRock binaries.
If you’re trying to build a Community Edition binary checkout the github projects for more info.
