    Hello dear Community,

we want to avoid an update while recon if there are no really changes in the attributes.
We also want to reduce the audits while we are preventing the useless update und write operations.
We are using the “LDAP Connector 1.4.1.2”

Even after all condition scripts, on every attribute of the mapping, return “false” (so no update signal),
there is still an update operation following afterwards.

    How can we prevent that?

    best regards
    Burhan

@xinlian the live sync is triggered if an attribute of the managed object is altered. But what if the altered attribute is irrelevant in our mapping? Then there is an unnecessary write operation is done.

So how can we stop the update or write process if there is no relevant change for our mapping?

so guys i found the soultion:

you can compare the source and the target in the onUpdate hook either on the situation or seperate as onUpdate script

just return “IGNORE” (cancels the update) or “UPDATE”
