Error trying to perform export-ldif on Directory services

    ./export-ldif \
    > –hostname abc \
    > –port XXXX \
    > –bindDN “cn=Directory Manager” \
    > –bindPassword ******* \
    > –backendID userRoot \
    > –includeBranch dc=example,dc=com \
    > –ldifFile backup.ldif \
    > –start 0 \
    > –trustAll

    Error:

    You have provided options for scheduling this operation as a task but options
    provided for connecting to the server’s tasks backend resulted in the
    following error: ‘Connect Error: The LDAP connection has failed because an
    error occurred during the SSL handshake: java.io.EOFException’

    please reply with a resolution if anyone has experienced the error before.

    Such error message would simply happen if you are trying to run the command against the LDAP port (which is plain LDAP) instead of running it against the Admin Port (default 4444).
