    Dear All,

Please let me know if we can store the newly registered identities via OpenAM self registration in a different userstore .

    Thanks,

Please clarify the question a little. You want to store identities created via OpenAM self-registration process in a different user store, but a different user store to what?

    Hi Andy,

Sorry for not being so clear, As we want to keep these newly registered users in an external store otherthan OpenAM Datastore/Userstore (as this OpenAM datastore/userstore is in sharing with another openam instance). Please advise if there is any feasibility.

    Thanks,

    Hi

The self-registration flow will create the user in the datastore defined for the realm. You could create a new realm and define a datastore profile pointing to your external store. The users created there would not be able to authenticate into your current realm, but they could authenticate into the new realm.
