I have a OpenAM installation on my local machine that I installed with embedded OpenDJ but now I want to connect the same instance of OpenAM to a standalone OpenDJ on the same local machine. Is this possible and if yes, how do I do this?

Thank you for all your help.

It definitely helps but I was wondering if I just make some changes in the way OpenAM connects to OpenDJ. Basically what I am trying to achieve is load the configuration of the new OpenDJ without making any new realms which means that I wanted to load the realms that are already present in the standalone OpenDJ.

I have been able to achieve this with two instances of OpenAM with embedded OpenDJ, all I need to do is export the ldif file from ome and import it to another but now I am trying to see if I can replicate the same with an embedded opneDJ and a standalone OpenDJ.
