Hi Folks, I set up a site url with load balancing including two instances of OpenAM. I can login to a sub realm with a url parameter as “ream=realName” with the actual OpenAM url. However, it doesn’t work with the load balance url. It looks like the load balance url doesn’t work with other url parameters such as “service=authenticationChainName“. Is this an issue of load balancer setup or OpenAM doesn’t support url parameter with site url? Thanks.

OpenAM does support query parameters with site url. Try below examples. If they are not working, then you may need to check LB configuration.

With regard to realms, using DNS aliases is the better practice vs passing in the realm parameter. Just FYI.March 19, 2018 at 5:27 am #21230grkParticipant
