    Hi

    English is not good.
    I am sorry.

We are working to build the SSO environment without purchase of Subscription.
I will use in a production environment.
problem occurs in the installation of OpenAM PolicyAgent.

    《The performed procedure》
     1.checkout
      URL
       https://svn.forgerock.org/openam/tags/JEEAgents-3.3.0
     2.maven build
        ⇒generated
        Tomcat-v6-7-Agent-3.3.0.zip
     3.Unzip
     4.PolicyAgent install(Command, agentadmin –install)
        ⇒error occured
ERROR:. A required license file is missing Execution can not proceed further.

Cause of the error is known.
It is because the “license.txt” is not placed in the decompressed folder
    j2ee_agents\tomcat_v6_agent\license.txt ← not exist

    I was confirmed pom.xml.
If you specify the “-P binary-licensing” when building maven,
it was noticed that “lisence.txt” is placed.
Although immediately was carried out, not know the ID/PW of svn,
it fails to check out the following
    https://svn.forgerock.org/internal/trunk/QA/OpenDJ/builds/b2.6/license/

    【Question】
     1. PolicyAgent can be production use without purchase of subscription?
     2. To production use without having to purchase a subscription,
       (1)How to generate “Tomcat-v6-7-Agent-3.3.0.zip” ?
    (2)How to install PolicyAgent ?

    Best Regards.

      URL
       https://svn.forgerock.org/openam/tags/JEEAgents-3.3.0
     2.mavenでのbuild
    ⇒Tomcat-v6-7-Agent-3.3.0.zip 生成
     3.zip
ERROR: A required license file is missing. Execution cannot proceed further.

     j2ee_agents\tomcat_v6_agent\license.txt ← 存在しない

      https://svn.forgerock.org/internal/trunk/QA/OpenDJ/builds/b2.6/license/

How about just creating an empty license.txt file to make the agent installer happy?

    Hi Peter.

I’ve installed successfully by creating an empty License.txt file.
Is there a problem of license?

Could be a bug with how licensing has been implemented. Can you reproduce this issue with a nightly community agent build? I would assume that instead of the binary license the agent should include the CDDL license instead. Not quite sure why that didn’t happen for you.

    Hi Peter.

    I think.

Must show the license terms for the CDDL.
It is good that the inclusion in the agent installer legitimate license.txt file copy from svn(openam etc).
