    Hi,

In the process of migrating off ODSEE 11g to 389 Directory server. Anyone used 389 as a datastore in OpenAM before?
There seem to be a few challenges with using what equates to a “generic LDAPv3”, especially during the intial setup phases. If anyone has used 389 and can share any tips it would be appreciated.

    TIA

    Joe

FWIW we got this to work. Tell OpenAM that your directory server is ODSEE. Once configured go into the datastore definition and remove iplanetPreferences from the object classes and replace it with netscapePreferences.

After that everything seems to work.
